Yeah I believe a lil scene is in order:

After Rick let's guar out of prison when teamkatswell arrested him. He puts his hand on his shoulder and smiles*

General guar: welcome back

Rick: slaps his hand off* no this is a one time thing next time they get you, you stay there

General guar: ...

Rick: you,the good guys,the bad guys all over my brain but I choose the side I want

General Guar: Rick I know what i did but maybe if you can help-

Rick: I don't want to help you *sundently guar looks down whit a sly frown on his face* but that doesn't mean I still care "father"

*rick gose to guar and hugs him leaving guar in the open cell to make his escape*

And that's pretty much it just wanted to show a lil father and son relation whit guar and Rick
